The Pela does what it should do, slowly but reliably sucking the oil out of the engine. It took a good half an hour to produce 8.5 liters of oil, but the vacuum technology makes this very easy. In between, pump up again and again and the rest will go by itself. Compared to the previously used electric oil suction pumps from Proxon, two of which gave up the ghost within two years (never again !!), a simple but reliable pump.

Convenient for the emptying of my car but very long despite having heated the engine 30 minutes (3:30 to remove 4,5 L of oil 5w40), because I used a very fine probe of 3mm bought on another site because the original probe too wide did not pass the orifice of the gauge (twisted) for my gasoline engine Renault 1.2 L TCE 130. With this probe 3mm in plastic metal like the original one, one goes down well to the bottom of the crankcase and even more by forcing a little. I still managed to remove all the oil and I think that the oil also fitre, so effective pump provided to pump 10 times every 10 minutes in my case ..
