I have now used the pump for the first time to change the oil in my boat engine (diesel). The pump itself is assembled and ready for use in a minute. Through the guide in which the dipstick sits, insert the suitably thin suction hose of the pump and then press the piston of the pump about 10-15 times until pressure builds up. The used oil is now sucked out of the oil pan due to the negative pressure. The negative pressure pulls out about 1 liter, then the pumping process is repeated, etc. After about 10 minutes, all of the used oil (about 5 liters) was sucked out. Overall, a really clean and uncomplicated emptying of the used oil. Even after about 5 hours of operation, the newly filled oil was still absolutely clear, which indicates that the old oil was completely sucked out. I am very pleased!

Use the pump for my Golf 6. Dipstick out, pump hose in, pump, done. The pump cylinder sits a bit wobbly on the container, but you don't necessarily have the feeling that something is about to break off or break. I like the long, thin, stable suction hose. The pump itself works well but the tube diameter is so thin that the oil has difficulty passing through. It took me 2 hours to suck up 3 liters of 15W40.
Maybe I should have run the engine longer to heat the oil more and thin it more...
