You cant complain ! .. with INOX screen, well made !! In connection with wind scoops we never had to close them. Every 2 years the grid should be cleaned and the thread axis should be greased otherwise brass and axis will bake ... again and again!

the plastic toggle to be screwed on is not very tight. If the fan is tightly closed, turn the toggle off and the mushroom will not move. They're waterproof.
