When connecting it turned out that although the cables from the remote switch could be threaded into the switch and connected (everything very tight!), the two power cables - were obviously not intended at all. The switch has the necessary poles for connecting, but there is no space and no off input from or into the socket. So you have to drill a hole in the back cover yourself.

For 129, - € Trumatic should spend the magnetic switch quietly a few meters line. So everyone is forced to add the line. It is not in the sense of the inventor to mount the switch directly next to the gas cylinder.

Product works perfectly after installation

A final assessment can only be made after installation and use this summer 2016. \ r \ nOf course, the cable is far too short.

Positive:
+ Good workmanship of the solenoid valve. The electrical connections are cast. Contrary to what is shown, the head (the gray cylinder in the photo) is quite small and therefore very handy.
+ Description is sufficient.
+ Reliably does what it's supposed to do
Negative:
- The supply line to the magnet is max. 1.5 meters. No cable connection technology is included to connect to the switch. For almost 100 EUR I would have expected more here.
- The cable guide on the back of the switch is only enough for one cable so that the cover can still be closed from behind. Alternatively, the jacket must be removed longer so that the wires can be routed under the cover in this way.
Conclusion: Good product, but moderately equipped. The only 4 stars

Unfortunately only 1.5 meters. long connecting line on the valve body.

The electrical switching unit has already broken down twice after just a few weeks.

I wouldn't buy it again! After a few months of operation (but still under warranty) the relay stopped working. I wrote to SVB and asked if I could send the relay back. A few days later I received a reply from Truma forwarded by SVB - Truma should be sent the relay and control panel for inspection. Why do I actually have to clarify something with the manufacturer - my contractual partner was SVB! From the letter from Truma it was clear that this was probably an operating error - it's about on/off - what could I have done wrong? As I had already made the cut-out for the control unit in my panel, I didn't want a hole there and had to order the whole thing again, costing over EUR 320 for a simple remote switch!!! Weak of SVB and very weak of Truma!!!

Delivered in time in Finland, from where quickly to Kalmar, Sweden, where my boat was., I could not install new Truma, because threads were inches, my gas system and old Truma with mm-threads. Yacht accessory shops could not help with my fast schedule. Magnet valve by-passed.
