Beautiful and compact 3kl/anchor lantern with easy mounting/connection

Product meets expectations. Very high light output with perfect color.\r\nThe lamp housing is only half as high as that of the old three-color lantern with anchor light. This can lead to other elements in the mast top completely or partially covering one side of the navigation light. This is the case for me and an additional base has to be installed as a spacer.

Positive:
- Great consumption (all three together at around 0.2A)
- Brightness is impressive
- Easy to install

Negative:
- The connection cable is too short. Since the product is sealed waterproof, there is no way to connect a cable directly. In my case, the integrated cable is too short to get from the bow basket to the connection box in the boat. This means that I have a separation point somewhere on the bow where sea water is constantly getting to.
- It takes a lot of skill to open the plastic housing (necessary for installation) without breaking anything. I think it is almost impossible to open the housing when it is assembled (if disassembly is necessary or the screws need to be tightened). According to the instructions, this should be done with an offset screwdriver - I have doubts as to whether this will work, especially if you cannot see where to put the tool.

Conclusion:
Overall, the savings offer for the set of three is quite good. It remains to be seen how long the actual lifespan will be (the lamp will then have to be completely replaced). It would be desirable to offer the lamps with longer connecting cables. I find the performance of the lamps convincing.

Easy to mount. Light sources are a single-point LEDs (tricolor) so performance is badly affected by even small obstructions (like windvanes) near the lens. Removable light unit is a good idea but also the unit \ 's weakness. The connection to the base is via 4 pins. After two seasons electrical connection has become unreliable.

compared to similar products, the price is right. The compactness is great, the luminosity very high. However, it would be nice if the connections were directly on the device and sealed watertight. So you have to think about something for a 50 cm long cable.

Lamp and base holder were loose in the packaging. As it turned out, the latch did not fit properly because the gasket was over-applied. Only after a mechanical processing could you add the parts. The quality of production and quality testing does not seem to be the best.

When I received it, I couldn't close the bayonet lock between the glass and the bottom. O-ring is too hard and cannot be deformed. This prevents the bayonet lock from engaging. If the pressure is too high, the housing would burst. I have had a ticket open at SVB regarding the problem for 3 weeks. Unfortunately SVB does not answer. Would advise against the anchor lantern
