well functioning replacement for old log
The old log (built around 1998) initially showed incorrect temperatures, and later it also showed no movement through the water.
The new log meant that the old through-hull fitting could be used, so it didn't have to be craned in separately.
The next time we crane in, the fitting will be replaced - since we always take the log out between trips and replace it with the blind plug, we are curious about the check valve in the new through-hull fitting that was supplied.

Speed and temperature instrument Excellent, cheap, functional and effective packaging. Access to ST 60.
Mounted on an almost insufficient 38 'cable length. Too bad!

Speed temperature sensor
I am satisfied overall with the sensor. The negative point is that the wheel locks much more easily than my old sensor. The design of the wheel is different and we have to clean it almost every week whereas the old one could last 1 month.

limited functionality
The log sensor is easy for anyone to install. Connection is easy. Very simple construction. However, the integrated temperature sensor stops working relatively quickly (after 2.5 years) (e.g. sea water temperature 55C).
In addition, the paddle sensor clogs up easily and is extremely susceptible to stubborn pox infestation, which is difficult to remove completely due to its design.
It is good that the sensor can still be ordered, but it is disproportionately expensive.
