Very good and useful navigation tool, as beginners we find out easily the way to work with it happily. We use it on the Adriatic Sea, very satisfied with it.

No more risk of getting the wrong direction or angle measurement as with the Cros ruler with its 2 protractors. 1) To read an angle with this ruler, simply put it on the oblique line and turn the wheel until its interior lines are vertical and horizontal, with N (North) at the top! If necessary, drag the ruler a little along the line to make an interior line coincide with a horizontal (latitude) or a vertical (longitude) of the map. 2) Conversely, to draw a course from a point, it is enough (on a white paper for more readability) to adjust the rotating part of the ruler to the right angle, then to apply the ruler to the map with its edge passing through the point (by leaning on a pencil positioned on the point) and by pivoting and sliding the ruler until one of its interior lines coincides with a horizontal or a vertical of the map. This is much faster than with a Cros ruler because it's easier than trying to read the angle while positioning the ruler against the starting point. I strongly recommend for people who have readability problems...

The course ruler looks good; now has to prove itself on the next trip or I have to get used to it. In any case, it has the advantage of no longer having to work with two triangles.

Perfect, that's what I was looking for.

Breakthroughs in the material (arrow and ship) are provided with burr, thus no rich "plane" edition on the chart. However, a very practical and easy-to-use "tool", I have always worked with triangles.

Too bad that the instruction is not in Italian.

Unfortunately, my plotter has a built-in measurement error of 0.5 degrees on east-west courses. This doesn't matter in practice on board. However, it could easily be avoided if the device were a little better made.
A measurement grid on the plotter would also be helpful, instead of the superfluous explanations about courses and current triangles. Personally, I also think it would be better if the centimeter scale were on the outside.
