The product seems solid and well made. Unfortunately, the helpful customer service couldn't tell me the exact dimensions, and there's no information to be found on the manufacturer's website either. The length of the valve body excluding the lever is 10cm as I was able to measure upon receipt. For reasons of space, I ultimately installed a shorter product and was able to return it unused and without any problems.

Avoid these jokes at all costs

In 2021 during the refit of our boat, I hesitated between composite vanes or this one in bronze.
Unfortunately I opted for bronze, thinking I would be quiet for a few years....
Today in 2025, 4 of my 1"12 valves have their axis broken...
I find myself having to take my boat out of the water after 4 years just for these valves..
You should know that I live on board and that I handle them every month to prevent marine life from blocking them....

Very very very disappointed... This jeopardizes our passage through the Panama Canal... This incident will cost us a few thousand euros...

A word of advice: Choose another brand or brass... Half the price but same lifespan!!

Axle broken without force

I installed these valves on my boat 3 12 years ago.
Without the use of any force, the valve spindle of the ball valve for the cooling water inlet broke.
A corresponding request for a statement from SVB was dismissed with a laconic response that the warranty period had expired.
The quality of valves is essential for the safety of a boat.
My trust in all other installed valves has been destroyed!
No recommendation!!!!!

Valve internals subject to defects

I was certainly the object of an unfortunate delivery, the internals of the valve did not meet my expectations. This is the first time that I have been disappointed with SVB but I maintain my trust in them.
