So far, so.good. Very good qprice ratio. I wanted a radio with AiS and nmea2000.

The only drawback, you can place DSC calls or add buddy from the AIS screen, it means that even if the radio.knows the MMSI you have to type it manually in order to place a call, prettty anoying.

Most affordable DSC-VHF radio with AIS receiver, NMEA2000 and NMEA0183!

First I made sure that I still got the handsets (H50) (but not from SVB) Otherwise I would have had to take the V60, which is almost twice as expensive. It doesn't matter that this device does not have an internal GPS antenna, because I integrate it into the NMEA2000 and get the position data from there. (I haven't been able to test it in real operation yet, at home I have neither AIS signal nor other radio stations) But registering and intercoming with the additional H50 sets (from boatoon httpswww.boatoon.comde) works perfectly!

Very nice VHF

I replaced my ICOM VHF as it started to get old and the fact that I wanted AIS information out on the NMEA 2000 Bus. I was afraid the sound quolity would not be as good as the ICOM. I was plesently suprised that it was better! Technology have advanced in 15 years! Installation was easy. The wireless remote in the cockpit works as good as the VHF.

Missing channels!

No good for the UK, despite SVB knowing they are shipping it there they don't point out that UK channels are not enabled with no option for the user to configure them.

You are meant to figure this out from this line in the description

If additional channels (e.g. Dutch channels 30, 31 and 37) are to be activated, we calculate our programming fee

Could be a lot clearer!
