I painted my boat with this antifouling four years ago. I take it out of the water every winter. There's hardly any fouling or buildup then. The antifouling still looks very good. Nevertheless, I clean the boat with a pressure washer. Then the Pimer paint starts to show through slightly. A light sanding by hand with 120-grit sandpaper, a thin coat of paint, and the underwater hull looks like new again. The surface is still nice and smooth, too.

Exceeded my expectations.

It was on my Maxi because it already had self-eroding, brand-name antifouling on it. I derusted the keel and applied two coats there, and one coat on the rest of the boat.

The boat was in the water continuously from 1023 to 625. There was hardly any algae or pox growth, but after the winter of 2425, which unfortunately didn't involve any sailing for me, about a wheelbarrow of mussels had settled on the keel and the skeg rudder.

I was also able to largely remove the SVB epoxy primer paint on the keel using a pressure washer.
