Gute und dauerhafte Verarbeitung. Brauche den Schalter nicht im maritimen Bereich, sondern für einen Rasenmähertrecker. Dafür reicht auch das Maß an Wasserdichtigkeit. Ob ich auf meinem Schiff einen solchen Schalter verbauen würde, weiß ich nicht. Das Ober- und Unterteil des Schalters sind nicht miteinander verklebt sondern nur durch Rasten zusammengehalten. Man kann den Schalter somit auseinanderbauen, Wasser kann aber auch eindringen. Die Kontakte sind nicht mit dem Schalterboden vergossen. Dieser Schalter ist definitiv NICHT WASSERDICHT. Aber wie gesagt: für meine Zwecke ausreichend und somit von mir eine gute Bewertung.

If this product is to be integrated into a group of V series switches (Contura), it is necessary to use a "specific installation frame". The reference 10626, for example, is not suitable. You must use the reference 24851. This is not indicated on the page of the USB adapter, and the page of the reference 24851 actually shows the reference 10626. In short, it is difficult to find your way around, and again, this only concerns the individual connectable installation frames. It is difficult to know, in fact, if this adapter fits into the frames with multiple positions (probably not!).

Note that there is a female connector for connecting this USB adapter, but it is not offered by SVB. Too bad, because it includes a locking tab that acts as a foolproof device and protects against accidental disconnection. Given the minimal price of this connector, it is abnormal that Carlintech does not provide it as standard. However, unlike the case of the wiper switch, it is possible to connect the pins individually, although there is a risk of polarity reversal when disconnecting and reconnecting.
