The engine cover is a little wide compared to what's inside. Too bad it doesn't fit in the rear trunk of the sailboat like my Yamaha.

Mercury 3.5 hp 4 stroke

My grandfather had the first 5 hp Mercury 4T back then. I drove this for many hours as a child.
After successfully passing my driving test, I drove two two-stroke engines. Now my girlfriend and I have an 8 meter spitzgatter and wanted a dinghy just for the harbor.
Then we came across this outboarder.
This is super light in my opinion, the consumption, since we often drive at idle speed, is, in my opinion, around 0.1-0.15 liters, so that you can drive forever on just one tank of fuel. The engine has excellent idle performance. (No stuttering or stalling), but only after approx. 2-3 hours of operation.
We are very convinced of this engine!!
If an outboard orderer, then Mercury!!
