Teak wood does not darken.

I wanted a waterproofing treatment that wouldn't darken the teak like standard teak oils do. This waterproofing treatment serves my needs perfectly. However, a thorough cleaning every year, a teak brightener, and waterproofing treatment make the deck look like new. I definitely recommend it.

Doesn't keep what it promises

Good thing is that the product does not darken the teak deck as much as it does with oil or varnish.
What's bad is the water-repellent effect, at least visibly, only lasts a few days of sailing when water comes on deck.
