Raymarine VHF 53

The radio works well but I have not yet fully used DSC because I am still waiting for the MMSI. The only flaw, not serious, is that the microphone with cable are not detachable. (The higher models have this possibility) of small size I like it.

My SIMRAD RS 82 stopped receiving and SIMRAD is not able to repair the device. So something new had to be found. My choice fell on the Ray 53. Power connected, antenna plug in, 3 simple selections made in the menu and the spark works. Particularly worth mentioning Despite the cockpit installation, the device receives the GPS signal with the integrated antenna without any problems.
