Not suitable for MD2010-D

Does not fit into the opening of the MD2010-D, diameter about 0.5 mm too big! The barrel is also too long so it doesn't hit the gear properly.

Disappointed

Disappointed to find this is NOT a DIRECT replacement for my old pump (Volvo Part no 3593654.) Although it seems well made, this pump has the internal dimensions of the earlier model fitted to MD2020 A and some B engines and uses an impeller which is much smaller than the VP Part No 22222936 also shown on this site. The hose connections are slightly smaller as well.
Later engines MD2020 C, D were fitted with the larger pump (like mine) which, I assume, has a greater throughput. As a result, I didn't feel confident fitting this pump.

Flange too thick

Does not fit Volvo 1-20f!!

The pump is not compatible with engines 1-20f. Brass flange is not turned like the original.

Does not fit on a 2008 VOLVO D1-20

The pump does not fit a Volvo D1-20 (Bavaria 31 from 2008) pump. The pump body has no step like on the original pump. The diameter of the stepless pump body which fits into the motor is 0.5 mm too large and cannot be inserted into the motor. This same pump body is too long and therefore if it retracted (see above) it would block the helical gear which is used to drive the pump by pressing it towards the bottom of the motor. Still waiting for an explanation and a refund!
