I've been using the Victron Blue Smart IP22 12V 30A with three charging outputs for a while now and am very satisfied overall.

Installation and electrical connection were quick and easy. Connecting via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app also worked flawlessly and was set up within minutes. The app is user-friendly and provides a good overview of the charging status and the charger's settings.

The charging performance is excellent, and the device operates reliably and with the high quality you'd expect from Victron.

The only drawback is monitoring multiple batteries. Although the charger has three charging outputs, the individual batteries cannot be monitored separately in the app. Only the overall charge status is displayed, as all outputs use the same charging algorithm. If you want to monitor the status of each battery individually, you'll need additional accessories, such as a SmartShunt or a battery monitor.

In conclusion, this is a high-quality, powerful charger with easy installation, reliable operation, and a very good Bluetooth app. Users who want to monitor multiple batteries individually should factor in the additional effort required for separate monitoring. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars; only 5 are possible here.

I would have given it 6 stars, but there were only 5.

I've installed five of these chargers in the hull of my boat. With the accompanying app and Bluetooth connection, I have a perfect overview of what they're doing and can even switch the charging current between 7.5 and 15 A without having to crawl down.

I like it much better than the mass of cheap Chinese chargers - and the documentation is excellent.

Its the best decision I have ever made to switch to the IP22

I replaced my old charger with this one a few years ago. I'm very happy with it. I connected it like the old one, using a single output connected to my charge distributor (the same one used by the alternator in my Volvo D4) for my 2 lead-acid batteries. It works, but is it the best system compared to connecting each of the outputs to a battery without going through the distributor?

Easy installation.

The charger is compact, easy installation

So far everything is perfect. Let's see if the charger lasts as long as the old one. I have the charger permanently installed on my sailing boat, a Waarschip. It charges a starter battery and a service battery, both 95 Ah AGM.

Easy to install, app works great. No problem for a layperson to install. Other battery types also work, of course.

Works flawlessly! Information can be accessed via Bluetooth. Can also be used with only 2 occupied outputs. Important: Use only one type of battery. No mixed operation. Well crafted. Instructions could be more detailed.

Thanks to a good description from VICTRON, installing and putting the charger into operation was no problem. The charger is used to maintain the charge of a battery bank on a sailing yacht.
