Simarine products make a very good impression in terms of material, appearance and, above all, functionality and scope. And at a very fair price. It is both an advantage and a disadvantage as a company to have its own self-contained standard for a network. If you stick with the Simarine devices, everything is great. But if you have a common network standard on your boat, such as NMEA2000, then converters, adapters and gateways will eventually become expensive ;-) I find a bit of disadvantage with the Simarine products that there are only these overlong Sicom network cables. Other networkers offer different useful lengths for their backbones and stub lines - and to crimp such power plugs, not everyone has the right tool at hand ;-) Many thanks also to the dear SVB people (especially Mr. C. Berwolf -)) with me Your very good, competent, patient, persistent, friendly and courteous advice and neutral product recommendation. I only felt that I was in the best of hands and I can warmly recommend them -) SVB is simply a great company and, as an exile from Bremen, I am completely open-minded ;-)

Usual Simarine, quality - housing made of cheap plastic. Installation went smoothly, plug it in, install the firmware update for the Pico display via the smartphone app and that's it. It should be noted that the scope of delivery does not include a NMEA2000 cable. The device, like the Pico display, has some minor teething problems ex works. The applied voltages of my 3 battery banks are not correctly transmitted, two of the banks 12 and 24V are transmitted in the same field, so the battery display on the connected plotter constantly jumps between the two values. A corresponding error report has already been sent to Simarine Support (supportsimarine-help.zendesk.com) - the software error will be repaired by their developers in January 2021 and then incorporated into new firmware. Values such as temperatures, barometric pressure, battery status and remaining battery capacity (in hours and minutes) as well as consumption in amperes are correctly transferred. I couldn't find any NMEA2000 certification for this product. Nevertheless, a great part for a comparably low price.

When installing several tanks, 2x water and 2x diesel, only one data set 10206771.0 is supplied. However, the display briefly switches to the other tank in between and then back again.
