I am very satisfied with this product.

The device came very quickly, the advice on it was very good. Was immediately sent to Greece and installed there. From the beginning the cooling ran without any problems. The whole conversion was completed in 3.5 hours.

We havent installed yet but from the looks this is a nicely built unit. Svb as usual has processed fast and we have bothered them with quickly answered questions.

The compressor is not yet in use, but the unit makes a very good impression and is - despite its tropical design - very compact.

Perfect cooling, better than my old series 80, which made it slow after 12 years. Be sure to pay attention to the cable cross section to be used and best order directly!

The part is solid and compact. Unfortunately, I did not realize until I had removed the old compressor and wanted to connect the new one, that Dometic represents an idiosyncratic philosophy regarding the connection to the evaporator lines. The existing on my ship coupling system does not fit. Dometic uses metal-sealing screw connections - once screwed tight, they must not be opened. If so, you have to send the compressor unit (maybe also the evaporator including 1 piece of ship?) To the factory, where new fittings are soldered and the system is refilled. How incredibly handy for a sailboat that's off the beaten track of civilization. Maybe there are "sail-in" stations from Dometic somewhere in Europe, no idea. Here in SE Asia, the "refrigeration specialists" have just shaken their heads to the question of suitable fittings. I've just had the gland ends of the old compressor soldered to the new, got new O-rings and can now with the old clutches as previously separate the compressor from the evaporator, without much gas is lost - especially no air penetrates. Brazing equipment required, one vacuum pump, R134a refrigerant with filling device. The Fridge is purring again ...

Very satisfied with product and very quick and friendly handling by the SVB employee. The star deduction is for UPS (actually it should be more, but the product can not help it) Invoice due to leave not paid immediately - then UPS sends the second reminder, before the first arrives, with 20 euros reminder fee and threat with enforcement , Unfortunately, I do not have the trouble for the first time. It would be nice if you could choose the courier as a customer.
