B&G is top-notch for sailors
A well-designed product. Especially interesting features for sailors, such as a graphical representation of wind angles and configurable displays.

I'm replacing my old AUTOHELM instruments with TRITON² displays – a fantastic alternative. Lower power consumption, multifunctional, NMEA 2k network. Everything is very well thought out.

Good product. I recommend it.
It took me a while to do this review because I decided to wait to complete the installation, put the boat in the water and go sailing. It is fully compatible with the NMEA2000 standard. The installation went without a hitch. It took some work to adjust the diameter of the hole in the hull, run the cables and redo the instrument panel. I started a new network with the NMEA2000 protocol for the new equipment. The old equipment that still works continues with the existing connections. In the future, as I replace the equipment, I hope to expand the NMEA2000 network. The visibility of the Triton2 panel is excellent day and night. The DST810 sensor is easy to calibrate speed using a smartphone. Depth reads sand and silt without any problems. So far I've tried it at a depth of 70 metres with a sandy bottom and it continues to take readings. Overall I recommend the B&G Triton2 and Airmar DST810 sensor set.

Good offer
I bought the Triton as a bundle with the WS310 and the LotLog 800 as a set and a second display so I don't have to keep switching. The assembly was done quickly thanks to the included template at the helm. I only had to have the WS 310 installed, as we are not allowed to climb into the mast due to accident prevention regulations, although I have the appropriate equipment for it. Thanks to the NMEA 2000, all devices were quickly connected and worked immediately without programming. I complain about the slightly pale colors on the display compared to the plotter, but this is a complaint on a high level. In the accompanying book, however, there is no indication that the triplog and the total mileage counter only work if the triplog is specifically switched on. I can only report on the other functions when the boat is back in the water next year, if Corona allows it.

Ideally suited as a multi-instrument in a 2K network. Intuitive setup and operation.

The complete package
I ordered this pack to build a complete NMEA 2K network with a B&G Zeus, Simrad NSS8 and B&G V60 marine radio. I have first hooked the complete network up at home and most of the network worked straight out of the box. The pairing of the wind receiver and the masttop unit took a while, untill I had left the masttop unit fully recharge, after that it was a breeze. All in all I am very satisfied with this package, the only thing that I find shocking is the fact that the blind plug for the Airmar DST 810 leaked water into the boat. I installed the through-hull housing and put in the blind plug since I did not want to run the risk of damaging the transducer. Once in the water there was water leaking into the boat through the blind plug. I repositioned the plug several times, but it kept leaking. After installing the transducer the whole thing was entirely waterproof. This set is a bit pricey, but worth every penny of it.

Beautiful NMEA2000 multi-display, specially designed for sailing ships
Very easy to read display. Logical and sensible user interface. The SailSteer display is particularly informative and graphically integrates all important information. Heading, course over ground, waypoint bearing, true and sham wind, laylines and current, everything can be seen relative to each other. That really worked and I only know it from the B&G display. Other sites are rather standard from good to mediocre. For example, the AIS display is rather rudimentary. I cannot say much about the operating functions for the autopilot since I do not have a compatible AP. Many values can be plotted and displayed graphically over time, and up to two such plots per page. However, there is only one value per plot, ie you cannot, for example, compare the speed through the water, over the ground and towards the target (VMG). There is a total length that relates solely to the route through the water. The two daily counters count distance through water and distance over ground. However, it was not possible for me to include the Trip2 counter, which measures the distance above ground, in a display page. When I select each counter, I always get Trip1. That should be a bug. Support request has so far remained unanswered. I also heard that Navico technical support is not that great. Nevertheless, overall it is a successful display.
