I am very satisfied with the product. Only integrating the nautical charts into the plotter was a bit difficult, as the instructions for the plotter were not that good.

The SD card contains only the license but no nautical chart
I bought the same map for two other boats in 2023 and 2024. I was able to insert the SD card into the plotter and it displayed the nautical chart. This time it didn't work at all. So I called SVB, who referred me to Garmin in Italy. In short, they don't offer any help at all. Chat GPT helped me, and I'll briefly summarize how to install the map: You install Garmin's Active Captain app on your phone, establish a connection to the plotter, and use it to activate the map stored on the SD card as a license. Then you insert a blank SD card into the plotter. After that, you download the nautical chart into the app and transfer it to the blank map in the plotter via Wi-Fi. But nobody explains how to do this. SVB has no idea, Garmin doesn't help (and if they do, it's only in Italian or English), and it's not mentioned in the manual. It took me three days to even get it working thanks to Chat GPT. Conclusion: Never again Garmin!

After a frustrating attempt to use the map in my plotter, after contacting SVB by phone, I was advised to contact Garmin service. (?) I will try to return the map to SVB again after returning, pending reimbursement of the amount paid. I would consider that appropriate and correct. I have been an SVB customer for years, but unfortunately (until my issue is properly addressed) I will now view the company very skeptically. Sincerely, G.W
