I installed 6 pieces of this lamp in the ship and after only 6 months the really cheap "chrome plating" started to blister and all lamps now look worse than the beautiful 30-year-old brass lamps that were installed in the ship, but unfortunately seem inappropriate for the new interior design. It's a shame, because I really liked the design and the USB connection, but the quality is just miserable. I will now replace all the lamps and unfortunately throw them in the bin. I advise everyone not to buy this lamp and I hope that the manufacturer will improve it. This lamp does not deserve the marine seal and will probably bring joy to a mobile home owner. But in my experience it is definitely not suitable for the harsh marine environment. A bad buy, which, in addition to time and money, unfortunately also wasted material and unfortunately confirms that in many respects better quality was delivered in the past.
