Will no longer comply with regulations from January 2025. Can you continue to use it or do you have to convert to MOB2?
I have three, one in each life jacket, because when you are on single watch at night the MOB alarm is automatically triggered on the radio.

Additional rescue equipment
I use the watch as an additional rescue tool in coastal areas. Seems to me to be a very handy addition to traditional rescue tools.

Unfortunately I don't know whether there can be a test run - that would be very nice - it provides security in the event of an emergency.

Battery
The battery lasts a short time, 24 hours at rest, if an activity is started it can be 12 hours.

Programmable
The MMSI is programmed using a flickering field on the screen. Cool idea.

Sensible!
I hope I never need to be rescued. There are also monthly running costs. Overall, the watch should have more features.

AIS distress transmitter
I can't say yet whether the transmitter works. But from the description it's a really great device that I will always carry with me. Programming to your own MMSI is a bit tricky because it depends on the quality of the screen of the device being programmed. It only worked for me with the third device (desktop, notebook, tablet). Only with this connection to the radio does the distress transmitter really make sense.
