Diesel pump does not work.

The diesel pump wasn't working, 24 volts were there and it still wouldn't run. I was too lazy to send the pump back to SVB. So I dismantled the pump and found that the collector... the carbon brushes were raked out. I put it back together and now it's running again without any problems. Good performance for a small price.

The gear pumps have been used in a scientific test bench for around 3 years. They are operated in the test bench under alternating loads (frequent acceleration and braking) under strongly fluctuating pressures. So far, no pump has failed in our test bench. The pump is used as an alternative to available industrial pumps from chemical engineering and has proven successful so far.
