„Ok, here we go. the pump is very well made and the gearing is good, the viscosity has to be very high or the medium hot in order to pump, certainly where oil is to be processed. I filter the oil ISO46 Hydraulic oil to protect the brass precision gears, but I have the oil hot when transferring, I tried this cold and the fuse blew within 10 seconds due to overload protection, very good.I still require the oil to be hot even though it is 46 grade, possibly a 68 grade would be ok, have not tried this. I would suggest that this is good for diesel transfer cold but only use on oil when oil is hot.“
