Engine Mounts for Boats

Rubber engine mounts (also called engine feet) flexibly hold the engine against the hull. Wear is caused, for example, by vibrations, shocks from the drive train, misalignment of the engine and various weather conditions. Defective engine mounts can be noticed acoustically throughout the entire boat. A strong jerking and loud rattling noise when the engine is under strain are general signs that the motor mounts should be changed immediately.
