Good sheet rope

I use the rope as a genoa sheet on 26 feet.
I would have actually preferred something "fluffy". The cover is quite smooth and needs one more turn around the winch. On the other hand, it hardly kinks and runs through well. It should be noted that the cover is woven quite loosely. This makes it easy to slit, but with sharp kinks, e.g. in a thimble, you have to be careful that the core can slip out of the cover and should be fixed accordingly.

I used the rope as a Smeerreep for two summers. At the point of the figure-eight knot, the sheath releases the core, the rope kinks and the core is exposed. That didn't happen to me with Race XP and Cruise XP. The soft jacket makes splicing easier. The rope is softer in the hand than for example Race XP.
