I use about 2 tap-loads of product in a 10 Lt bucket of water. Plenty of foam. I apply it with a scrubber brush suitable for deck washing. After spreading it, I let it rest for a minute or two before scrubbing. Once the scrubbing is done, I remove it with plenty of water. This product removes most dirt from the deck and gelcoat surfaces. You may need a hard scrubber for the tougher corners and anti-slipping surfaces. For grease or harder stains I use a small undiluted bit directly on the scrubber.

I used it for the first time this pre-season, to try it out. I applied it in the hull, cockpit, cabin and deck. It leaves the gelcoat shiny and protected by a thin film of wax, you can actually see the water drops slide over the surface instead of the usual lingering and sticking. Remember to first wash thoroughly, then remove all remaining dirt (I use the gelcoat cleaner from Yachticon available here as well, pure from the container, with a cloth), then apply the wax with a white cloth and lightly polish with a quick once over with a clean cloth. I am curious to see how long its effect will last. I suppose it must be reapplied once in a while.
