Same with the black switch - the rubber doesn't last so you have to buy a whole new switch just to replace the rubber casing. Also SVB only use UPS as their international courier service and UPS is terrible in Panama, South Africa and anywhere in the Caribbean so I am reticent to purchase from SVB again (who are amazing in their customer service) simply because of their preferred courier. After three years of use with two of these headlamps, I'm happy to see their batteries finally reach the end of their life and to upgrade. There's no red light, the light is far too intense, the lamp gets hot, and to turn it off you have to press the button three times, forcing you to cycle through all the brightness levels and blinding everyone on board.
