D-rings torn out after 2nd season

Unfortunately, the webbing used to attach the D-rings to the sail cover isn't UV resistant, so after the second season, the ring where the cover was attached to the spinnaker halyard tore out. Of course, the halyard stayed up on the mast, thanks a lot! I could easily tear the remaining D-rings right through the webbing, it was so worn.

SVB repaired it without any problems, but unfortunately, they used the same webbing again despite my suggestion to use black webbing for UV protection.
