Very good GPS device with extensive features. The only drawback is the arrangement of the control buttons above the display, which one partially covers when operating. But you can live with it and even serve with one hand. I plugged in an 8GB Micro SD card and played many free cards. I also have all !! the POI offered by Garmin from their homepage loaded and on the mSD card in the directory (Must be created) GARMIN / POI via USB cable from the PC dubbed. After a restart you were immediately available. Conclusion: The purchase was worth it!

Leider habe ich Anfang April 2011 ein scheinbar neues CP180i mit Hard- und Software von 2006 erhalten (noch ohne 50 Kanal WAAS GPS Antenne, Firmwareversion 11 von 2006). Diese entspricht weder dem Katalog noch der auf www.standardhorizon.com beschriebenen aktuellen CP180i-Ausführung mit interner 50 Kanal WAAS GPS Antenne. Auf meine telefonische Nachfrage wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass nur Geräte ohne 50 WAAS GPS aber mit Firmwareversion 16 lieferbar wären. Ich werde das CP180i zurücksenden und hoffe (trotzdem noch) ein aktuelles Gerät zu bekommen.

Wir haben die Halterung "H" gekauft. Ein labberiges Ding, mit Plastikrohrschelle. Die gezeigte Abbildung stimmt überhaupt nicht!!!! Bei Montage des Adapters für die Antenne CXL-2 drehte gleich das eingepresste Gewinde in der Pressung zum Winkel durch.
Der Preis für solch ein Ding ist ohnehin schon ziemlich "frech", die Qualität ist Mist. Braucht man so ein Ding wie "H", sollte man sich dringend nach etwas anderem umsehen oder sich eine andere Konstruktion ausdenken.

Die relativ großen Reifen sind recht praktisch auf grobem Untergrund, fordern natürlich auch ein entsprechendes Packmaß. Die Batterien haben trotz penibler Wartung kaum 24 Monate den Dienst sinnvoll verrichtet, zu kurz, wie wir meinen!
