I’ll do it your way, Thomas. Generally, to keep noise and fuel consumption down, I tend to run the engine at lower RPMs—around 1,300–1,500 RPM, rarely 1,800. To clean the engine of any soot deposits, after about 30–40 operating hours, I gradually rev it up to nearly 3,000 rpm for about 3 minutes. This is also recommended by Yanmar. Oil consumption is still undetectable even after over 5,000 operating hours. The engine is in perfect health. And the rubber mounts definitely haven’t been replaced in 12 years. As for the V-belt, I can only confirm that—it’s already snapped on me twice. Of course, both times it happened at the worst possible moments. If you then continue driving at low RPM (max. 1,200), there’s no immediate overheating damage—the time margin is very generous, easily over an hour, maybe even significantly more. According to some mechanics, this is one of the best small marine diesel engines ever built. I myself don’t have enough experience with other engines to make such a statement with any authority.

There isn't one. The anode on the drive shaft has to take care of it. It works without any problems. Despite the heat exchanger's high corrosion resistance, Yanmar recommends flushing it with fresh water during extended periods of inactivity.

I guess this is more of a propeller discussion than an engine discussion ;-)
