Harness the sustainable power of the sun with these solar modules from AURIA. Not only effective when facing south, they also generate stable amounts of electricity when pointing north, east or west and in bad weather.
We know that this item is not suitable for installation on your boat, but we have included it in our product range because we nevertheless want to offer our environmentally-conscious customers the chance to purchase high-quality solar panels at an incredibly competitive price. The AURIA all-glass panels can be installed in your home on the roof, but are also suitable for facade / wall mounting with appropriate fixing systems, for an elegant pin-stripe look on your facade.
The next generation: Micromorphous PV panels
The new micromorphous structure differs from conventional PV panels, with a double structure of micro-crystalline absorption layer and an amorphous silicon layer.
This special construction allows you to use virtually the entire light spectrum to generate electricity, which increases efficiency by around 50% on average.
Use of the full spectrum of light
Unlike conventional panels, these modules are able to generate decent amounts of power even when weather conditions are not ideal, thanks to their micromorphous structure. The number of actual hours of sunshine is now not the only factor that is detrimental to how much power they can generate. In this case, the total amount of light plays a role. This means the panels can generate more electricity, from sunrise until late in the evening.

Mounting solutions ("Solar Assembly Systems") manufactured by Schletter are also available.
NOTE 2
The open-circuit voltage of an AURIA module is approx. 130 V!
The maximum permissible touch voltage for DC systems is 120 V for humans and 60 V for animals.
In special environmental/installation conditions, safety measures should also be taken into account for installation and operation at voltages below 60 V.
The charge controllers generally used in the marine and automotive sectors are not suitable for the high voltage of the AURIA modules!
A suitable charge controller from our standard range is the
VICTRON MPPT150/35.
Please use the VICTRON sizing calculator to calculate the optimum utilisation of the controller (number of modules connected in series). https://www.victronenergy.de/mppt-calculator
The number of modules connected in series, module data, cable length and cross-section, module temperature range, nominal battery voltage and location must be entered in the sizing calculator. Important: very low temperatures can occur in winter. Make sure you enter correctly in the module temperature section! Click on "Calculations" and "Graphs" to see the values of the system and to check whether there is a current limitation by the controller.
The current is multiplied when modules are connected in series. Ensure that the cable cross-sections are large enough to keep voltage loss between modules and controller below 2%.
