Product details

Semi-flexible high-performance solar module specifically designed for marine use on board as well as for RV and truck roofs. The lightweight and compact modules can be easily secured using a construction adhesive or through the existing stainless steel eyelets at suitable locations. These solar modules are made from a special aluminum-plastic composite. A 0.8 mm thick aluminium core is coated with plastic, which provides increased stability. The PET coating is highly weather and scratch resistant. Built-in bypass diodes ensure power generation even in partial shade or low light conditions.

Additional features:
  • Semi-flexible, i.e. can be fitted to a curved surface once during installation.
  • Integrated bypass diode in the connection box.
  • 90 cm long PLUS and MINUS connection cables, pre-assembled with standard 4 solar connectors.
  • Thickness: 2.5 mm.
  • Total height incl. connection box: 20 mm
  • Weight: 2.1kg
  • Fixing eyelets: 4 x 10 mm inner Ø

Performance
Of the three modules I ordered, one performed significantly better than the other two in a short test. So, the difference in performance, but just how significant, was impossible to determine in this non-laboratory comparison. I used both modules with the same power output! They were mounted on a roof box in parallel.
I'm satisfied, and the two modules replace one with 150 watts and provide sufficient power for the system.
