BAVARIA Assembly Kit for Replacement Pane

With this mounting kit, the new screen fits perfectly.

Unfortunately, the information about the adapter kit was nowhere to be found when ordering the Lewmar Bavaria cabin window pane. Due to a later model change by the manufacturer, this adapter set is necessary for older models (up to 2008). It's just a shame that this series of spare parts only contains 3 fastenings, whereas Bavaria usually has at least 4 fastening bars on the yacht side, depending on the size of the pane. The feeling of "tailoring spare parts" is unfortunately unavoidable, as 2 sets were needed for the replacement. There was no good advice or information from either the manufacturer or the dealer, which made the replacement process unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. However, returns and complaints were processed quickly and easily. All's well that ends well - the new replacement pane now finally fits without any problems, is watertight and the project is finally finished after more than 7 months! I would like the information on this spare parts kit to be automatically linked to the Lewmar product range on the internet catalogue pages so that other customers do not have to spend a long time searching in the future.

Essential for replacing the old Plexiglas of Lewmar portholes with grooves on the periphery.
