It is certainly not the cheapest product on the market. However, after I have installed it carefully in the boat, I think that it is certainly the best complete offer (if only with English instructions - no problem for me). It should be noted that all connection bolts (relays and main switch) are M10 bolts. The handling of SVB (order, shipping ....) was in the usual exemplary manner.

Product details

ADD A BATTERY works just as easily as an ON-OFF switch and allows two batteries to be charged from a single power source. ADD A BATTERY is easy to use and install and can be used with generators with a maximum output of 120 amps. ADD A BATTERY consists of a battery switch and an automatic charging relay. These components simplify charging and switching between batteries, so that you can turn the battery switch ON when you arrive and turn it OFF when you leave the boat.

  • Combines both batteries in emergencies to start the engine

Automatic charging relay
  • Connects both batteries automatically when charging
  • Isolates the batteries when the engine is started and when the batteries are not being charged
  • Divides the charging current more effectively than a conventional battery switch

Note
The charging relay is designed for use in wiring systems with lead-acid battery types (also AGM and gel).
It monitors voltage levels matched to lead-acid battery types and automatically switches on or off at specific levels.
We strongly advise against using this relay in conjunction with LiFe(Y)PO4 batteries, as the higher nominal voltage or working voltage range of lithium batteries is not compatible with the levels for lead-acid types.
