This product is of good quality, but it is incomplete because it is sold without the connector that goes with it. The pins are very close together and, in the absence of the connector provided by the manufacturer, it is imperative to use isolated female pins to avoid a short circuit between the pins. Unfortunately, there isn't really enough room, and this leads to twisting of the pins. In the event of disconnection, the reconnection of eight separate pins is also a significant source of possible errors. The connector provided is asymmetrical, which prevents any error, and it is also locked to prevent inadvertent disconnection. It would be good to offer this connector, as is the case for the V series switches. This connector can only be found on US sites, by 10 minimum. To order ten of them, considering the price of 2, would be possible, even by adding customs fees and taxes, but it is necessary to count in more 50 of transport. In the end, this doubles the price of the switch.

Note also that this is an L-series switch from Carlingtech, which does not fit into the V-series installation frames. It must therefore be mounted separately, which is a shame. (Unless you enlarge the frame, which I intend to try).

The rating given takes these drawbacks into account. Otherwise, I would give 4 stars, because the product is of very good quality, but not very ergonomic. A rotary button with support for the washer would seem more appropriate to me.

Finally, it has been impossible so far to operate this switch. It should be noted that SVB provides three wiring documents with two different wirings. The one bearing the Carlingtech brand, in English, indicates the slow speed (wire 2 at Roca or Vetus) on terminal 6 of the switch and the "park" wire on terminal 87A of the relay. On the other two documents, in French and in German, bearing the SVB mark, it is the "park" position on terminal 6 and the slow speed on terminal "no" of the relay, without a number but which corresponds to 87. Unfortunately, none of these configurations work.

In the absence of an internal circuit diagram of the switch, it is impossible to solve the problem.
