You can dip the entire brush in a bucket with deck wash and then scrub, making the cleaning job easy and economical. I actually bought this initially for cleaning the hull. You can also put sandpaper instead of the brush and carefully clean a really badly fouled hull, that has little bits of coral growing on it.“

Preparation before polishing
- Good preparation saves time and effort -
Before you start polishing and using any machines on the hull or boat surface, we advise thoroughly cleaning and removing all dust. We recommend our cleaners, sponges and tools such as brushes and dust cloths for this.
Polish your boat
- the right way! -
Check the condition of the area to be polished and determine how much of the old surface you will be sanding away, the desired level of gloss and thus the grain of the polish. When using a polishing machine, our SVB polishing experts recommend using the machine in straight lines over the hull to achieve an even finish. Foam pads and "good old" lambswool are still ideal tools for a brilliant result! After polishing you should protect your ship's polished surface with a rich wax.
