DIGITAL YACHT NAVALERT NMEA 2000 Alert System

NavAlert is Digital Yacht's innovative NMEA alarm system that allows boaters to create alerts for any variable on your NMEA 2000 network. This includes navigational data such as depth, course and speed as well as electrical data such as voltage, temperature, pressure, tank levels and fuel flow from the engine and generator.

Installing NavAlert is easy. It connects anywhere on the NMEA 2000 network and also takes power from this connection. Once installed, NavAlert creates a local WiFi network through which it can be connected to any smartphone, tablet or PC. With the clear graphical interface you can easily set up, configure and display alerts. NavAlert constantly monitors the whole network so alert parameters can be set for any variable. Several parameters can be monitored. The alarm is then relayed via the end device connected via WiFi. Alerts are also forwarded to any compatible end device via NMEA2000 and displayed there accordingly.

NavAlert also features a custom alarm for anchor drift that uses an algorithm to calculate the optimum drift radius based on the depth and scope of the chain. There’s also an anti collision alarm based on CPA, TCPA and AIS data from a connected AIS and provides attractive graphical displays of current status.
When an alarm is triggered, an audible or visual alarm can be generated. NavAlert can also generate an SMS message and relay it via Digital Yacht's 4GXtream internet connection (optional) - great for remote monitoring even when you are on land.

Alarms are independent of any alarms set on a chartplotter and work even if the multifunction display is not switched on.

NavAlert is universal, using the industry standard NMEA 2000 data protocol. It is compatible with all leading brands and systems.
