Sorry, there was also this wrong note in our product description: "When using the MCA-RC1 remote control, the DIP switches on the unit must be adjusted." Only when using an MPC01 battery management system with display and battery sensor (not in our portfolio) must the DIP switches 1 to 3 be switched to "ON" according to the instructions. This does not apply when using the MCA-RC-1 remote control. Instructions point 8.5, says in paragraph "Enabling the control for external devices" that this does not apply to the MCA-RC1: (..., does not apply to MCA-RC1)".
