GARMIN Reactor 40 Hydraulic Autopilot System / with GHC50 and Shadow Drive

The Reactor 40 hydraulic autopilot system is ideal for powerboats and sailboats with a Garmin hydraulic pump and can be connected to a variety of propulsion systems, such as inboards, outboards, stern drives and diesels.
Delivery includes 5" control unit GHC50, electronic control unit (ECU), control course sensor (CCU), buzzer/alarm and innovative Shadow Drive technology.

Responsive, flexible and reliable
The solid-state 9-axis AHRS (Attitude Heading Reference System) responds reliably to sea conditions to maintain course. In addition, the autopilot system offers particularly helpful features, including heading hold, wind hold, tack/jibe, step turns and more. It also greatly minimises heading error, course deviation, rudder movement and power consumption, giving you enough time to operate sails, lines, winches or radios. The system mounts nearly anywhere, in any orientation.

Chartplotter compatibility
Combined with a compatible chartplotter, the Reactor 40 can be controlled and steered anywhere on the boat. In addition to holding its course in virtually all weather and wind conditions, the system can smoothly perform a variety of preprogrammed trolling and search procedures. Plus, with a compatible Garmin networked chartplotter and optional BlueChart g3 Vision charts (sold separately), you gain additional functions, such as Auto Guidance with automatic route suggestions.

Stay in control with Shadow Drive technology
Shadow Drive gives you the option to take the wheel at any time with Autopilot activated. The autopilot is automatically disengaged if the helm is turned and re-engages when you hold a steady course.
