The Reactor 40 hydraulic autopilot system is ideal for powerboats and sailboats with a Garmin hydraulic pump and can be connected to a variety of propulsion systems, such as inboards, outboards, stern drives and diesels.
Delivery includes 5" control unit GHC50, electronic control unit (ECU), control course sensor (CCU), buzzer/alarm and innovative Shadow Drive technology.
Responsive, flexible and reliable
The solid-state 9-axis AHRS (Attitude Heading Reference System) responds reliably to sea conditions to maintain course. In addition, the autopilot system offers particularly helpful features, including heading hold, wind hold, tack/jibe, step turns and more. It also greatly minimises heading error, course deviation, rudder movement and power consumption, giving you enough time to operate sails, lines, winches or radios. The system mounts nearly anywhere, in any orientation.

Tough, water-resistant and floatable remote control for your Garmin Reactor autopilot!
The wireless handheld remote control features a backlit colour display and allows easy and convenient operation from anywhere on your boat. This gives you full control and access to numerous functions, such as using gestures to adjust the heading or make course corrections. Simply point the remote control in the desired direction. The remote control also fits perfectly in the hand thanks to its ergonomic design. Supplied without batteries (sold separately).
Chartplotter compatibility
Combined with a compatible chartplotter, the Reactor 40 can be controlled and steered anywhere on the boat. In addition to holding its course in virtually all weather and wind conditions, the system can smoothly perform a variety of preprogrammed trolling and search procedures. Plus, with a compatible Garmin networked chartplotter and optional BlueChart g3 Vision charts (sold separately), you gain additional functions, such as Auto Guidance with automatic route suggestions.
Stay in control with Shadow Drive technology
Shadow Drive gives you the option to take the wheel at any time with Autopilot activated. The autopilot is automatically disengaged if the helm is turned and re-engages when you hold a steady course.

Hi, Please can you tell me the difference between article 93989 and article 93962. I am confused as they look like they are the same price and everything is the same, except that one comes with the remote for the same price? Is everything else in the package identical? Also when i sign in the price changes to when i view as guest. I live in cyprus and would like it posted there. I will also need a 1.2l pump. This is for use on a single 250 hp outboard fitted with seastar hydraulic steering 8.42cubic inches steering cilinder on a 23foot boat. I will use for slow speed trolling fishing. Hi David, yes, items #93962# and #93989# are exactly the same with the exception that item 93989 comes with the radio remote. This is a special offer from us (SVB). The 1.2 liter pump is suitable for cylinder capacities from 98 - 229 cm³. The price also states whether and if so which tax is included in the price. I think this is the reason for the price difference you have observed.
