Very good AIS / VHF antenna with a frequency range particularly designed for AIS with a gain of 6 dB. Length: 1.2 m, fiberglass tube. FME connector in the base of the antenna. The antenna base has a 5/8" thread. For use on sailing or motor boats.

Note:

Due to the special frequency range (161.975-162.024 mHz) of this unit, this antenna is only meant for AIS-applications and can therefore not be used for general maritime radio purposes (156-162 mHz).

This antenna is part of a modular system. For mounting and connection, further components are needed.
When selecting the mounting components, please be aware that the RG8X connection cable including the FME coupling (9 mm outer diameter) must be routed through the antenna holder.
- The RA300 is equipped with a 5/8" (approx. 16 mm) thread at the bottom and can be mounted with appropriate accessories as needed.
  - For mounting on our antenna holders with 1"-14 UNS external thread (about 25 mm Ø), you need an adapter that extends the thread from 5/8" to 1".
    If you want to mount the antenna on an existing mast mount, the hole must be 16 mm. In this case, the mother/disc set is additionally required.
  - When using a new mast bracket, the nut/washer set is not required as it is included with the mast bracket.
- Optionally ready-made RG8X connection cables and corresponding device connection adapters are available for connecting the antenna.
