Lead-acid batteries = approx 150 cycles, AGM batteries = approx 600 cycles, GEL batteries = approx 700 cycles, LIFOS 105 = approx 5,000 cycles (at 50 % DOD)

To avoid irreversible damage, lead-acid batteries should only be discharged up to 50%. As a result, you can only use half of the battery capacity. A 100 amp battery can only be used up to a discharge of 50 amp. Deep discharging causes damage to the battery and significantly reduces its lifespan.

Traction batteries such as AGM and gel-lead batteries are now used for the power supply of appliances in the marine sector. These batteries can often be discharged up to 70%. But then they have to be recharged quickly. In practice, however, only about 70% of the stated battery power can really be used.

Lithium batteries can be almost completely discharged, which means that you essentially have the entire capacity at your disposal. The integrated battery management system (BMS) protects the LIFOS lithium batteries from deep discharge and switches the battery off automatically.

High capacity, low weight

The LIFOS GO 200 delivers a remarkable 2750 charge/discharge cycles with a depth of discharge of 90%. This means a usable battery capacity of 180 Ah.

The LIFOS GO 200 is a featherweight 24.5kgs, with a capacity of 200 Ah. A 200 Ah lead-acid battery weighs approx. 54.6 kg, more than twice as much, and cannot match the LIFOS GO in terms of final charging performance and service life.

Compared to Li-ion batteries, batteries with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells have a low energy density. This, combined with high-quality workmanship, ensures outstanding battery reliability and safety.

The LIFOS GO 200 battery is verified by the UK's National Caravan and Motorhome Council (NCC) for use in recreational vehicles.

LIFOS GO batteries are also long-lasting and maintenance-free. This, together with the increase in power and low weight, justifies the higher purchase price compared to the life cycle performance of lead-acid technology.

LIFOS Smart - Battery performance and more

The integrated Bluetooth interface keeps you informed of the battery performance at all times. The LIFOS app displays the following information when connected to the battery:

- Current (A) - Voltage (V) - Power (W)- State of charge

The app also calculates the remaining battery life, which is very helpful in the case of constant discharge, such as by an electric motor. The smart operating system will even send you a warning well before the battery gets to a low state of discharge giving plenty of time to get it recharged.

System operation & integrated BMS

The integrated battery management system (BMS) ensures not only safe operation of the battery but also optimal charging and discharging. It also protects the battery from deep discharge.

The LIFOS GO 200 can be connected in series or parallel with three additional batteries. The BMS ensures all LiFePo4 lithium cells are perfectly balanced to give outstanding and reliable performance of the system.

Use the battery as a backup battery for a self-sufficient solar system and occasionally have to change the battery. It works with the weight.
The integrated Bluetooth interface enables the precise status display via the mobile phone app.
