The VICTRON Lithium NG batteries (Next Generation) are state-of-the-art lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) that have been developed for demanding energy applications such as off-grid systems, camping, boats or industrial installations. The batteries can be flexibly connected in series or parallel to configure battery banks with system voltages of 12, 24 or 48 V. Up to 50 batteries can be connected together in 12 V or 24 V battery banks, allowing a maximum capacity of 192 kWh (12 V) or 384 kWh (24 V) to be realised.
Integrated shunt and external BMS
The Lithium NG batteries have an integrated shunt that transmits the battery data to an external BMS. The external BMS is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately!
All parameters are automatically managed by the BMS, enabling precise recording of cell voltages, temperatures and states of charge in real time. In addition, the number of batteries in parallel, series and series/parallel connection is automatically recognised. The data can be analysed and controlled via the VictronConnect app or Victron GX systems.
Low self-discharge rate
The NG batteries are characterised by a high level of safety and a long service life. Depending on use, several thousand charging cycles are achieved. In addition, the self-discharge rate of the Next Generation series has been improved (approx. 2% per month), which means that a service life of up to 10 years can be achieved.
Robust design
The lithium NG batteries are also ideally suited for use in the harsh maritime conditions on board. They have an IP protection class of IP65 and are equipped with mounting brackets, which enables easy installation and prevents the batteries from slipping or tipping over.
