The Lynx Smart BMS 1000 NG from VICTRON is an integral part of the modular Lynx distribution system. It acts as an advanced battery management system specifically designed for Victron Lithium NG batteries. The BMS ensures consistent performance, optimum safety and complete and efficient monitoring of the Lithium NG battery banks.
In addition, a 1000 A contactor is integrated, which serves as a fall-back safety mechanism and can also be used as a remotely controllable main switch.
Battery management system
The main task of the Lynx Smart BMS NG is to monitor, control and support your lithium NG battery. It recognises the state of charge and protects against deep discharge and overcharging. Other important features include a configurable pre-alarm mode, connections for controlling chargers and consumers, a closed DVCC control loop for compatible Victron inverters/chargers, Orion XS DC-DC, battery chargers and MPPTs via a connected GX device and a discharge lower limit that determines how far the batteries may be discharged.
Monitoring and control
You can easily control your system via the VictronConnect app using the Bluetooth function. In addition, the Smart BMS has a VE.Can connection to connect the device to a GX device such as the Cerbo GX. The integrated battery monitor provides all important data such as state of charge, voltage, current, historical data, status information, cell voltages and temperatures in real time.
Lynx distribution system
The Lynx Smart BMS 1000 NG has M10 connectors for seamless connection to all other Lynx M10 products to ensure smooth integration into the Lynx distributor system.
Note: Only suitable for Lithium NG batteries!
