Product details
Classic Varnish is a traditional clear alkyd varnish containing tung oil resulting in a flexible, long lasting finish. Can be used on new wood as well as varnished wood for exterior and interior use above the waterline. Good resistance to seawater, sunlight and adverse weather conditions. Application method: brush / paint pad. Theoretical coverage: 17 m² / l. Contents: 750 ml. Use with thinner: No. 811.
Processing instructions:
For coated surfaces:
Sand the surface, clean and allow to dry.
For uncoated surfaces:
All substrates: Thoroughly clean and degrease. Sand and rinse the substrate. Then apply the first coat of Classic Varnish max. 20 % diluted, the second coat max. 10 % diluted. Then apply 3 more coats undiluted.
Drying time at 20° C: 6 hours
Processing time at 20° C: min. 24 hours
Processing temperature: +5° C to max. 35° C

- Plywood: Sand and remove dust. Then seal.
All substrates: Thoroughly clean and degrease. Sand and rinse the substrate. Then apply the first coat of Classic Varnish max. 20 % diluted, the second coat max. 10 % diluted. Then apply 3 more coats undiluted.
