HEMPEL MILLE NCT - High-performance antifouling with nanocapsule technology

HEMPEL MILLE NCT combines patented nanocapsule technology with self-polishing properties. This combination results in a precise balance between removal rate and even release of the bioactive agents - for continuous and controlled fouling protection over a long period of time.
The antifouling has a particularly high protective effect and is ideal for sailing boats and cruisers made of GRP, wood or steel. HEMPEL MILLE NCT can be used in all types of water - fresh, brackish and salt water - and can be combined with most common antifouling systems.

Application instructions

Application temperature: +10 °C to +30 °C
Drying time (at 20 °C): approx. 4 hours
Recoating time (at 20 °C): approx. 5 hours
Recommended application:

Apply two coats once a year. An additional coat is recommended for areas subject to heavy wear, such as the waterline.

Surface preparation

Uncoated surfaces:

Thoroughly clean the surface using high pressure (remove salts, fouling, grease and dirt). Then prime with HEMPEL LIGHT PRIMER and - as long as it is still tacky - coat with UNDERWATER PRIMER as an adhesion promoter.

Surfaces that have already been coated:

Remove loose layers and dirt with a high-pressure cleaner. In case of unknown antifouling, wet sand the substrate and remove dust. If the existing antifouling layer is in poor condition, we recommend sealing with UNDERWATER PRIMER. If the old coating is badly damaged, the old coating should be completely removed and a new system applied.

Safety instructions

Please always observe the safety instructions on the label and in the Hempel Mille NCT data sheet and safety data sheet. Wear suitable protective clothing during application. The product should only be used in well-ventilated areas.

Good product but bad logistics

I needed two pots for my folk boat, I also ordered and paid for two. The delivery note also included 2 pieces. There was only one box in the package. This is very annoying. I couldn't get a replacement at short notice and now I have a two-tone ship. After all, the money for the non-delivered can was immediately returned. I would like to ask SVB to work better here in the future.
