Water does not damage the kapok fibres, but machine washing should be avoided as it can break the fibres. Machine washing is therefore not advised. Stains can be washed out by hand. Kapok cushions must not be heated; please only wash at lukewarm temperatures.

Great pillows in a different design

Finally, an alternative to the ubiquitous cushions with a cord around the edge and white fluffy tufts. These cushions are a good size, and the handle makes them easy to transport. There's no significant difference in price.

The only reason the last star is missing is because the dark gray shown in the catalog is no longer available. Upon request, other colors should have been available, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case until the start of the season. So we bought the lighter ones and haven't regretted it. The concern remains that they'll get dirty (or more quickly).
