The small BaroPlug is simply connected to the backbone cable of the NMEA 2000 network. It then provides the current air pressure and temperature, the data can now be read on any suitable display in the system. The display depends on the manufacturer of the NMEA 2000 display or chartplotter.
The BaroPlug weighs 35 grams and is 8 cm long, its diameter is 2 cm. It accurately measures the pressure from 850 hPa to 1150 hPa with one decimal point and sends the relevant PGN data to the NMEA2000 network. The BaroPlug complies with NMEA2000 V3 specifications.

Only an additional NMEA2000 T-piece is required for installation!
The following NMEA2000 data is sent by the BaroPlug:
Air pressure (PGN 130311 - Environmental Parameters)
Temperature (PGN 130312 - Temperature)
Note: For operation in the Raymarine SeaTalk NG network, the optional SeaTalk NG Adapter (SVB article 60707) must be inserted between the T-piece and the BaroPlug.
