Product details

LE TONKINOIS PARQUETS consists of 40% linseed oil and 60% resin. It is a semi-gloss wood varnish with very good properties.

PARQUETS is porous, low-viscosity and penetrates deeply. With the oil penetrating into the capillaries of the wood, swelling and shrinkage are greatly reduced. Tough, crush-resistant and abrasion-resistant as well salt water resistant. It has excellent UV-resistance and does not fade, making it a premium parquet lacquer.

Use

The parquet floor must be thoroughly roughened. cracks in the ground should be sealed by a mixture of sanding dust and LE TONKINOIS PARQUETS. After 24 hours, abrade the excess. Base and intermediate coat can be applied in one day, depending on drying. Top coat the next day.

For very soft woods, it is recommended to apply a priming coat of LE TONKINOIS BIO IMPRESSION (SVB itm. no. 65015 / 65016), since this oil penetrates very deeply into the capillaries and hardens the wood.

Apply the paint in thin layers using a roller. Important: sand between each coat!
